Sackholders (by size)

Designed for wet areas where our sackholders are placed, these feet are deisgned to lift the sackholder from the floor to prevent water from becoming a problem.

The Silent Closing lid device ensures that the amount of noise generated by the closure of the sackholder lid is kept to a minimum.
In the early part of 1995 Wybone were approached by an NHS Hospital. The staff on the Special Care Baby Unit has observed how premature babies would be seen to physically jump when any noise was generated.

Their first solution was to put a nappy under the lid just in case someone didn't operate the lid correctly. Wybone were asked if we could solve this ongoing problem and hence the first  Silent Closing Sackholder was born.

Designed and manufactured by Wybone in 1995 the original design featured a large oil filled stainless steel reservoir filled with damping discs with a stainless steel damper rod . Although the unit was highly successful the complicated design meant that the unit was too expensive.

Now on our  third generation our current Gas Damper unit is very reliable, small and cost effective. The unit will function efficiently for many thousands of cycles without problem

The 28 litre sackholders are available in 3 options with colour coding available Free of Charge.

• Fixed body manufactured from Plastisol with powder coated galvanised components to the colour of your choice for excellent corrosion resistance. All units come with tubular pedal operation for years of trouble free service.

• Removable body, as above but with a removable body ideal for areas where heavily soiled refuse is collected and there is a risk of bag failure. Leak proof tray ensured any liquids are caught before spilling on the floor. Lightweight corrosion resistant body is easily removed for cleaning purposes.

• Hands Free as with Removable body but added advantage of a lid which can only be operated with the foot pedal! Designed specfically to minimise cross infection and favoured by many Infection Control Nurses.
• Sack Size in all options is: H 660mm - W 297mm - D 406mm

The 42 litre sackholders are available in 3 options with colour coding of unit available Free of Charge.

Designed to solve any potential  Manual Handling  issues you may have. Ideal for areas where very heavy soiled waste is produced for example incontinent pads and nappies.

The Sackholder functions as normal but when emptying is required the thumb catch is open and the wide door gives access to the plastic sack. The sack is the pulled forwards rather than upwards

A wide range of colours are available at no extra charge and the unit can be complimented with the addition of  options such as silent closing lids, castors and rubber feet.

The unit is manufactured from galvanised steel with a powder coated finish there minimising any chance of corrosion.
