<h4>Refurbishment of a product only costs 50% of the current selling price, so getting your bins refubished is a great way to save money, as you won&#39;t need to buy new bins...</h4>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Our refurbishment service is a great way to save money - by having your old litter bins made &#39;as new&#39; it means you don&#39;t have to buy new ones.&nbsp; We can offer this service for all our glass fibre and metal products.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>We&#39;ve recently done some refurbishments on bins more than 20 years old, and with a bit of work they could last another 20!</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>This glass fibre litter bin below came into us looking a bit old and tired after a long life outside, so we put it through our refurbishment process:</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><img alt="" src="/download/pictures/Refurbishment_New/DSC00450.jpg" style="width: 250px; height: 167px;" /></p>
<p>The process starts with a thorough clean and dry, then any existing plates are removed and saved ready to be reattached later on,</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><img alt="" src="/download/pictures/Refurbishment_New/DSC00457.jpg" style="width: 250px; height: 167px;" /></p>
<p>Next we grind down the surface of the bin, to give it a smooth even finish,</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><img alt="" src="/download/pictures/Refurbishment_New/DSC00460.jpg" style="width: 167px; height: 250px;" /></p>
<p>Then we recoat the bin with a new layer of glass fibre.&nbsp; This is sprayed on all surfaces and smoothed down to give a good surface finish,</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><img alt="" src="/download/pictures/Refurbishment_New/DSC00467.jpg" style="width: 167px; height: 250px;" /></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><img alt="" src="/download/pictures/Refurbishment_New/DSC00469.jpg" style="width: 167px; height: 250px;" /></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><img alt="" src="/download/pictures/Refurbishment_New/DSC00540.jpg" style="width: 250px; height: 167px;" /></p>
<p>The next step is to reattach the plates and the bin is ready to be sprayed.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><img alt="" src="/download/pictures/Refurbishment_New/DSC00572.jpg" style="width: 167px; height: 250px;" /></p>
<p>The bin is flow-coated with a black Hammerite to give it a slightly textured finish, then the bin is sprayed back to its original colour with two coats of paint,</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><img alt="" src="/download/pictures/Refurbishment_New/DSC00604.jpg" style="width: 167px; height: 250px;" /></p>
<p>The raised areas of banding are then masked off and sprayed back to their original colour,</p>
<p><img alt="" src="/download/pictures/Refurbishment_New/DSC00618.jpg" style="width: 167px; height: 250px;" /></p>
<p>Any detail, such as moulded plates are repainted by hand in their original colour, and a new liner is added to the bin,</p>
<p><img alt="" src="/download/pictures/Refurbishment_New/DSC00617.jpg" style="width: 167px; height: 250px;" /></p>
<p>The bin is now finished, and looks as good as new!</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
