Our refurbishment service is a great way to save money - by having your old litter bins made 'as new' it means you don't have to buy new ones.  We can offer this service for all our glass fibre and metal products.

We've recently done some refurbishments on bins more than 20 years old, and with a bit of work they could last another 20!

This glass fibre litter bin below came into us looking a bit old and tired after a long life outside, so we put it through our refurbishment process:

The process starts with a thorough clean and dry, then any existing plates are removed and saved ready to be reattached later on,

Next we grind down the surface of the bin, to give it a smooth even finish,

Then we recoat the bin with a new layer of glass fibre.  This is sprayed on all surfaces and smoothed down to give a good surface finish,

The next step is to reattach the plates and the bin is ready to be sprayed.

The bin is flow-coated with a black Hammerite to give it a slightly textured finish, then the bin is sprayed back to its original colour with two coats of paint,

The raised areas of banding are then masked off and sprayed back to their original colour,

Any detail, such as moulded plates are repainted by hand in their original colour, and a new liner is added to the bin,

The bin is now finished, and looks as good as new!
