Wybone has taken yet another step towards being even greener. We’ve just installed two new machines which when combined save 80% more energy than the previous models.
By investing in this new technology we have improved energy efficiency, conserved resources and reduced CO2 emissions from our factory.
The press brake plays an instrumental role in making Wybone’s RFG range of products and can in fact fold the steel for a clinical sackholder in under 3 minutes!
The new machine works by using stop-go technology, which means the second the operator takes their foot off the pedal, the pump stops. Previously the engine continued to run for 10 minutes after usage finished. This was a key factor when choosing the HFEII.
We’ve also invested in an EM punch press, which has 30% power saving and helps reduce running costs as well as reducing the company’s carbon footprint. It means Wybone’s working to preserve and regenerate biodiversity.
The combination of the press brake and punch press will allow us to react quickly when orders come in, improve our productivity, while maintaining standards and increasing accuracy rates.
